Reengaging with photography

I’ve let my investment in photography lag for the last couple of years. Time is a limited resource and there were other activities to pursue.

However, with the start of a new year and a recent career change, I’m hoping to change this. So, I’ve decided to start a 365-photo project. If you’re not familiar with the concept, the basic idea is to make at least one photograph daily for a year.

For me, the goal is to make the daily photograph. I may not publish daily.

1/365 — Tree reflections on the deck

I noticed the reflection of the trees within the puddles on the deck while making my morning coffee. I grabbed the camera and made this photo. The rings of distortion on the right are rain drops hitting the puddle.
