6/365 — Glass candle

We have a jar candle that creates some interesting layers as the wax melts. I felt it might make for an interesting photo and set about trying to capture something.

I was wrong.

Regardless of angle, distance, focus point and exposure, I just couldn’t capture anything that interested me.

However, in the process I noticed some imperfections in the glass that were very interesting, especially when backlit by the light from the flames.
